It’s a good platform because people can ‘like’ and ‘follow’ the page, this way they can keep updated about what Nudie Jeans shares and see posts on their ‘timeline’. Nudie Jeans posts something on Facbook every day, the people will see it on their ‘timeline’ every day too. This is good for the promotion because they will be reminded of the brand every day. Users can also send a private message to the Nudie Jeans Facebook page or comment on their posts and receive response. The posts from Nudie Jeans have good graphics all in the same style with the same font, this attracts people to keep looking at the pictures. There is an attractive atmosphere with natural colours in the pictures to bring over the brands mood. The content of pictures holds garment advertisement with a clear view on the garment and some flattering words and you will be given a direct link to the webshop. The pictures also hold discounts which attract people to buy something more easily. For example, you get 20% off a pair of new jeans when you hand your old jeans in at the shop. The pictures also hold event announcements; these attract you to get more involved in the brand in a fun and interesting way. Most of the time you will not go to an event on your own, so you ask a friend who will be introduced to the brand too, this way the brands promotion will be spread easily. The projects are a real eye catcher, Nudie Jeans offers a range of jeans for kids now and they introduced their new recycling jeans project. Making rugs and camping seats out of old jeans. This is a good example of their sustainability image they bring out, which is a going trend now and people are interested in. Information they share is about their responsible way of producing, their sustainable image, an insight in the collection and new arrivals and costumer stories. Handy tips about jeans like how you wash your jeans or how to repair them in fun graphics or video’s. To make the convincing information about the brand complete they reference to the foundations and organizations they are working with that stand for responsibility and fair producing.

Comparing
All in all I think the Facebook page and the website have their own individual benefits. But the website is a better promotion channel because here you can find extensive and detailed information and everything there is about Nudie Jeans, is on one channel, the website. The graphical parts are all connected and make the website visitor curious and interested in more.

When you are on the homepage of Nudie Jeans there is a lot to see and to choose from. It is one big promotion and news feed. On the side of the homepage are the production and jeans fit guides and an agenda. On the bottom you can find the repair shops and some extra service information. On top of the homepage there are the three main things you can choose from: ''online shop, ''this is Nudie Jeans'' and ''store locator''. The complete website is in the colours black, white, grey and orange; the brands signature colour. The calm, clear colours with the highlighting orange make it an aesthetically pleasing website.

Webshop
When you go to the online shop you can choose from various items such as: new arrivals, restocked, jeans, selvage denim, khakis, jackets, sweaters, shirts, tees, backbone, accessories. So they have not only jeans to choose from. The webshop has a very clear look, there are pictures of the clothes being modelled, with the name, (denim) kind and price written under. The good overview makes it easier to look through the items and more attractive to click on an item. Now a very important and original thing from Nudie Jeans in their webshop is the Nudie Jeans fit guide. Here you can drag two jeans in a screen and compare every aspect.  You can spin them around and compare looks and measurements in your own size. There are 10 different jeans styles to choose from and when you made your

Nudie Jeans has it's own repair shops in selected stores, which offer free repairs on all Nudie Jeans denim. They have 12 repair shops throughout, Sweden, North America, Germany, United Kingdom and Australia. But if you don't live near a repair shop they give you the option to send you a repair kit for free, so that you can repair your jeans yourself.
Nudie Jeans is all about sustainability and recycling. They believe you have to break-in your denim, repair it if it is damaged, reuse it when it's completely worn out and recycle it to be good to the environment. You can hand your old jeans in at one of the stores and you'll get 20% off on a new pair. The jeans will be reused as vintage jeans or recycled. Used and repaired jeans have achieved the swedish ''Good Environmental choice'' eco label.

















Nudie Jeans has some new projects about recycling, limited edition recycled rugs and camper seats. The Rag Rug is back and they made the In-and-Out Seam camper Seat, both made from jeans. They managed to recycle 90% of the old jeans used for the projects.




















Nudie Jeans finds it very important to have fair trading between profit and people or between manufacture and environmental responsibility. They do not own the factories in which their clothing is made however they bear the responsibility to provide a safe, fair and ethical working environment for all the people who are involved in the manufacture of their clothes. All their partners are required to comply with their code of conduct. Their membership of Fair Wear Foundation is a key element ensuring that everyone across the production chain works under fair conditions.
Nudie Jeans makes sure that everyone who participates in the manufacturing of their clothes has a wage enough to live from. Next to this Nudie Jeans is constantly working on reducing their environmental impact.

The Nudie Jeans website has more extra's, like the production guide. Here you can see where your garment has been made. You can go though the different types of garments and this will show in which countries the production of that garment took place. When you click through you can see the exact place of production in that country and the name of the factory which is a Nudie Jeans supplier. Here you can click through on the factory/supplier and see basic information about them and the work they do with Nudie Jeans. With just a few clicks they know where the garment has come from. For the customers this will create a very transparent look on the brand, which is a good thing because they want to know what they buy. This will make the customers view of the brand better and they will buy something more easily.

About Nudie Jeans

Nudie Jeans was established in 2001 by Maria Erixon. She didn’t want to be led by current fashion, but go her own way which would be a new way for Denim lovers. The jeans are inspired by the principle of raw denim. That means that the jeans are dipped in indigo and thereafter won’t be further processed in editing washed or sanded. After some time that the jeans have been worn it will show user spots which will make the jeans the wearers own, and the jeans will tell their life. The name for these jeans is dry denim; because of the fact the jeans are unwashed. Their slogan is therefore: ‘’Indigo is the living color’’. The more you wear your nudie the more beautiful it will be. Denim will be formed into a sort of second skin, and therefore Nudie Jeans is naked and personal.
